Members of the Global Relief Technologies (GRT) Field Operations Team are supporting operations with the ship and crew of the USNS Mercy in support of Pacific Partnership 2010 (PP10), providing humanitarian assistance to nearly 80,000 people across the Pacific.
Real-time information from up to three geographically separate MEDCAP sites in each country is aggregated within RDMS and available for review and analysis by PP10 team members both ashore and afloat on the USNS Mercy to enable more effective and efficient operations.
The first image is a site in rural Vietnam in which RDMS was utilized to support expeditionary medical operations. Note the GPS tagging for all records which provides the opportunity for unique mission analysis.
The second image demonstrates how RDMS is deployed in disconnected environments. |

The PP10 team is utilizing GRT’s patented Rapid Data Management System (RDMS™) to triage and track patients receiving a variety of medical services in Vietnam in three separate medical sites known as Medical Combined Action Programs (MEDCAPs). Processing upwards of 1000 patients per day, RDMS is enabling the PP10 team to more quickly and efficiently triage, track and report patient progress through a variety of medical stations including general medicine, pediatrics, dental, optometry and pharmacy. |
